In an effort to uplift the spirits of those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, volunteer members of firefighter bands from Gifu, Shizuoka, and Aichi performed a special concert in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, on March 15.
The ensemble of 29 musicians, representing firefighter bands from Gifu City, Hamamatsu City, and the cities of Toyohashi and Toyokawa in Aichi Prefecture, performed eight songs, including 'Ue o Muite Arukou' (Sukiyaki) and 'Hana wa Saku.
' Around 100 residents gathered to enjoy the heartfelt performance.
Beyond the music, the band members also put on an engaging show, incorporating dance and backflips, making for an energetic one-hour performance.
The audience responded enthusiastically, clapping along and swaying to the rhythm.
One attendee, 73-year-old Kumiko Yamagishi, expressed her gratitude, saying, 'I was moved to tears.
Their desire to uplift us truly touched my heart.
